Sensitive Dolly is very shy and afraid to fully express himself. He was teased and picked on a lot for being so shy. Unfortunately, this experience made him even more withdrawn and insecure. Sensitive Dolly's feelings are easily hurt; he doesn't know how to stand up for himself.. When he does talk, he speaks in short phrases in a very quiet voice. For a while he went to stay with Tinadolly, Claradolly's sister, so that he didn't have to be teased anymore. At Tinadolly's house Sensitive Dolly built up his self-esteem because of his new environment.
